Today, on February 06, 2024, in line with the weeklong celebration of the World Interfaith Harmony Week, the WMSU Peace & Human Security Institute successfully conducted an engaging session on Global Citizenship Education.

The session brought together college students of WMSU coming from different courses. Students were indulged in an interactive activity where they shared their insights and perspectives on global citizenship and peace.

This session provided the students with a platform to reflect on the values of being global citizens. It also made them understand the importance of celebrating World Interfaith Harmony Week and its aim to nurture respect for all, building a sense of belonging to common humanity and helping them become responsible and active global citizens.

This initiative is a reminder that everything starts with us; a reminder that the future is in our hands, thus we make the move, because just like what one of the students has said, “If it’s not us, then who? If not now, then when?”
