In keeping with Shababeek’s mission to facilitate deeper understanding between cultures, this year we will host Dr. Amer Al-Hafi for an interfaith harmony lecture on shared human values, followed by an interactive group discussion. Dr. Al-Hafi is the professor of comparative religions at Al al-Bayt University and the academic advisor to the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies, a Jordanian non-profit under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal. Shababeek is a Levantine Arabic and Intercultural Development Center located in Amman, Jordan. Shababeek's mission is to bring down walls between cultures in order to facilitate deep understanding between Arabs and the rest of the world.
