SPIRITUALITY AND POETRY – THE BIG QUESTIONS        Sat. Feb 5  2-3 PM Answers to the “big questions” can only be answered satisfactorily by the seeker him/her self.  However poetry written from the viewpoint of the seeker/soul can help all of us to find what is right for ourselves in our search for spiritual truth. Some examples……. What is the purpose of life? What happens after death? If God made the world, who made God? How do we know if we are following the right religion? What are dreams? What is freedom and does it really exist? And others ………….. Our open mic format will feature presenters reading from their own work on topic as well as introducing audience members to other poetry on topic that inspires them. Discussion will follow their readings (and questions about the poetry are welcomed).
