This is the first-ever World Interfaith Harmony Week Celebration in Marawi City. Almost two years ago, on May 23, 2017, the city of Marawi was attacked by the Maute-ISIS group that lasted for five months. The Marawi siege is the most horrible event that drastically affected the whole city of Marawi. Apart from civilian displacement, broken relationship between the Muslim and the Christian population is among the major problem. The Silsilah Forum Marawi initiate this activity to bringforth gope, healing, and reconciliation.
