On 12 February 2026, a book presentation was held in Astana for “The Pope and the Grand Imam: A Thorny Path — A Testimony to the Birth of Human Fraternity Document” by the Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Elders, Mohamed Abdel Salam. The book is dedicated to the landmark event — the signing of the Document on Human Fraternity in Abu Dhabi on 4 February 2019, following the meeting between Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmed Al-Tayeb (Egypt).
