In observance of UN World InterFaith Harmony Week, we set aside three Thursdays in the month of February (13th, 20th and 27th)  to take up lessons in Danish language with focus on United Nations  and the history of WIFHW.  Sprogcafé is an offer to those who are interested to learn or improve their Danish  language. It is a church service, free of costs. We have 14-15  volunteers who give time to teach foreigners. Students are from different countries of origin. Some of them are refugees,  foreign students, guest workers, foreigners married to Danes, etc. The two-hour lessons in these Thursdays will revolve around friendship while drinking coffee and tea, self-introductions in Danish,  giving simple answers to simple questions being posed upon them like:Tell something about your flag or Tell something about a symbol in your religion, and what does it stand for.  How can we make peace with others?  How can we protect our environment? There is singing of one or two songs in Danish, then students will be divided according to the number of voluntary teachers available with the provided materials on a particular lessons on UN and WIFHW. There is time  for reading, learning new Danish words, understanding the texts, drawing out grammatical rules from the given texts or using the new Danish words in their own sentences, or simply speaking freely.  The teachers take into consideration the needs of the students and their level of acquisition of the Danish language.
