Interfaith Week provided a meaningful opportunity for us to deepen our students’ understanding of religious diversity and mutual respect. Our students attended an interfaith panel featuring leaders from the Bahai, Jain, Sikh, and Jewish faiths. They also took part in an interfaith field trip, visiting the Maghain Aboth Synagogue, Abdul Gaffoor Mosque, and the Khalsa Dharmak Sabha Gurudwara of the Sikh faith. The week culminated in a wonderful Interfaith Assembly, thoughtfully hosted by our Grade 2 and 3 students. Through these experiences, our students were able to appreciate the beauty within different faith traditions and gain a deeper understanding of how Singapore promotes peace and tolerance within its diverse society.
