MeckMIN invites Mecklenburg's faith community to join in the celebration of Interfaith Harmony Month during February 2026 starting with our Kick-off Celebration February 3rd!.

Interfaith Harmony Month is to create a series of events across the month that promote and celebrate the values of interfaith bridgebuilding by providing wonderfully diverse opportunities for our communities to get to know one another in engaging ways.

The celebration with include a proclamation by the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners, a free vegetarian dinner, a service project, music and an "Interfaith Library" from which you can check-out living books representing the 11 faith traditions that make up MeckMIN. It's great for students, families, your youth group, and anyone who's been curious about other faith traditions - right here in Mecklenburg County.

MeckMIN Mission: MeckMIN builds bridges between individuals, houses of faith, and organizations throughout Mecklenburg County to enhance interfaith understanding and trust, to promote religious literacy, and to strengthen our community to serve the common good.

MeckMIN Vision: We envision a world of understanding, compassion and justice inspired by the highest values and core virtues of our rich faith traditions to create an inclusive community that respects the dignity of every person.
