Hooray! 🎉 Harmony Centre has just concluded our World Interfaith Harmony Week (@wihweek) last Saturday, 20th Feb, with a programme "Friendship Meal: Pledge a Poet" and in collaboration with Zion Bishan Bible-Presbyterian Church (@zionbishan). Over 30 participants from different faiths and institutions came, working adults and students alike. The programme included a virtual learning journey of Harmony Centre, a presentation by The Bustan Khat (@thebustankhat) on the introduction to Islamic Calligraphy and we even had a tour of the Church's Sanctuary! The event concluded with the highlight of the event - writing messages of support and solidarity to our Migrant Friends. These books will be distributed to them with the assistance of our kind friends from @migrantwritersofsingapore. Of course, it was only fitting that the event ended off with a makan-makan and networking session between participants in each group. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we hope that everyone continues the spirit of building bonds of humanity. 😊 Enjoy the photos! (Full album will be uploaded on our Facebook account: Harmony Centre - HA Singapore, do head there, link is in our bio!)
