The DC Interfaith Network for Young Professionals (DCINYP) is a professional community for individuals in the Washington, DC area working in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and international affairs, particularly where this work intersects with faith-based and interfaith engagement.DCINYP connects early- to mid-career professionals (generally ages 22–40) who are actively engaged in this work through paid roles or sustained volunteer leadership. This includes practitioners in diplomacy, mediation, nonprofit and civil society organizations, faith-based and interfaith institutions, and related fields. The network was originally formed to support professionals working at the intersection of religion, peacebuilding, and global affairs. With this relaunch, DCINYP maintains that core focus while welcoming aligned professionals contributing to dialogue, reconciliation, and social cohesion. What to Expect

  • Relationship-building meetups (virtual and in person)
  • Peer connection and shared learning among practitioners
  • Conversations on faith, interfaith engagement, and peacebuilding in international and community contexts

This is a community of practice, not a debate space.Relaunch NoteDCINYP is currently in a relaunch phase with new gatherings and opportunities being introduced. The relaunch is supported by Interfaith Connections as a Founding Media Sponsor.
