The World Interfaith Harmony Week began with an opening ceremony at City Hall with Mayor Nenshi reading a City Proclamation and all faiths participating in the event. Throughout the week, we featured a breakfast devoted to "Multi-Faith" families, Open Houses and Virtual Tours of Houses of Worship, two Habitat for Humanity Interfaith Build Days, a multi-faith rally for the victims of the Quebec mosque shooting, pulpit exchanges, two "Building Sacred Bridges" concerts and a concluding dinner at a local Turkish restaurant. The week garnered significant attendance and media attention and was a very successful first event celebration of the World Interfaith Harmony Week.
